There’s a lot on the line at the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities on Sunday: spots in the FedEx Cup Playoffs, Ryder Cup points and, of course, a big paycheck for the winner.
The 3M Open has an $8.4 million purse and will dish out $1.512 million to the winner.
Akshay Bhatia and Thorbjorn Olesen enter Sunday tied for the lead at 18 under, with four players one back at 17 under: Kurt Kitayama, Takumi Kanaya, Sam Stevens and Jake Knapp.
There’s also a trio just two back at 16 under, a group that includes Alex Noren, Pierceson Coody and Chris Gotterup. In his last two starts, Gotterup has finished third at the Open Championship and won the Genesis Scottish Open.
Per usual, scores have been low this week — the course record (11-under 60) was set on Thursday and again tied on Saturday — so the winner come Sunday evening will likely have to put up a low-60s number to take the trophy.
The payout breakdown for the tournament is below. You can track the final round here, and you can watch the action from 1-3 p.m. ET on Golf Channel and 3-6 p.m. ET on CBS.
